Detailed Description
BrandPulse is an advanced analytics project that I've been heavily involved in, aimed at optimising business outcomes and refining our brand strategy. This initiative centers on the effective management of four key components: product, price, promotion, and stock. Our primary focus is managing brand performance, evaluating supplier dynamics, and assessing product outcomes. We strategically discontinue underperforming entities, identify growth opportunities in new areas, and consider necessary adjustments to price, stock levels, and marketing position.
The project's goals are twofold: to streamline the process of brand data preparation, cleaning, processing, and visualisation, and to provide easy access to critical managerial information and insights. To achieve these goals, we have developed a drill-down report enabling the detailed examination of specific brand performance and trends. We also implemented a ranking system using Equi-Width and Equi-Depth bucketing, and both qualitative and quantitative information analysis. Customised metrics relevant to our stakeholders are conveniently laid out, facilitating informed decision-making. As for business outcomes, the project has led to the discontinuation of underperforming brands, reduced stock levels for these brands, tailored marketing efforts, arranged pricing reviews, and expanded product range. All these outcomes help foster a more informed dialogue with our suppliers.
